The Daytona 500 is watched annually by 50 million idiots and rednecks – the same 50 million idiots and rednecks who are generally the type of people who enjoy Michael Bay’s dumb, racist, incoherent, ADD-fueled, crash-edited spectacles of T&A and robot carnage – so obviously the race was the perfect place to premiere a new trailer for the latest installment of this wretched franchise, Revenge of the Fallen. In a related story, I had a dream that I met Michael Bay and despite looking like a giant douche, he was a really nice guy. That having been said, I would still rather watch someone drop a spike covered bowling ball on my bare foot than see this film.

About Jeff Carter

Jeff began his path towards Geek destiny at the age of four, at a drive-in screening of Star Wars. Since then, he's had a love affair with all things nerdy. In the mid to late 90's, Jeff was a staff writer for EchoStation.Com, interviewing Star Wars heavyweights like Timothy Zahn and Drew Struzan. He then went on to review films and write editorial pieces for several blogs in the mid 2000's, wrote and co-created a webcomic strip that ran from 2007-2010, and is currently co-founder of Dead Henchmen Productions, an independent film company based in New England.
