JON HAMM IS TOO OLD TO BE SUPERMAN
Actor Jon Hamm, who plays the awesome Don Draper on Mad Men, is the spitting-image of a late 1940’s/early 1950’s Superman. So it’s no surprise that there has been tons of buzz about Hamm possibly donning the famous “S” shield in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman project, The Man of Steel. However, Hamm recently said that he’s just too much of a geezer at this point to strap on the blue and red tights:
“I talked to Zack (Snyder) quite a bit… but no, I think that’s a young man’s game,” Hamm tells MTV. “I think I’ve been aged out of that one by now. But that’s fine with me; there are plenty of other men who are available to put on tights.”
You know, would it be such a stretch to see Hollywood cast a superhero that looks like he’s shaved a few times and is old enough to purchase liquor? Just sayin’.
